Ok guys, it's time to get serious about eating healthy again. After going off the rails this Labor Day weekend (cookies, wedding cake, cheeseburgers, an Uber bake sale delivery of Sprinkles Cupcakes, etc.) I'm back to getting on track. After doing the Whole30 this past March, I'm now armed with nutritional knowledge, and it's painful to continue on with a poor diet.

You may have noticed my posting gap (woe is me, a victim of working 85 hour weeks at the good old 9-5, aka 9 - ? advertising job) Through the late nights, coworkers have had to twist my arm to mostly order pizza. Through our guilty consuming, we started to ponder healthy delivery options. Oddly, not much came to mind until a coworker mentioned a now favorite brand of mine, Sprig, through the late night chats. Here is a brief write up that explains the brand mission:

"The food industry today asks consumers to constantly make trade-offs: to decide between price and convenience; or between healthy food and tasty food. We set out to combine the nutrition and sustainability of slow food with the speed and convenience of fast food. It’s a complex challenge, but one worth tackling.

As we look ahead toward Sprig’s future, we’re proud to announce several exciting changes that we believe will bring us closer to our long-term goal of making healthy eating universally accessible."

Since, I've ordered multiple times and have enjoyed every delivery. The first menu item I ordered was the red wine steak salad, followed by the kale and eggplant lasagna. They have a rotating menu of organic meals every day from former Google executive chef Nate Keller, it arrives in 15 minutes, and they throw in a little chocolate treat with your first order. Just enough to satisfy this sweet tooth! And hey – I'm a sucker for good branding and the food photography has had a lot to do with my repeat orders. Well done, Sprig! If you get the Groupon right now, you can get two meals for $15. IDEAL!

What other healthy delivery companies are out there? I'm always looking to try something new!
